Why do people always worship images in food or water stains?

You know the ones I mean, a chip that looks like jesus or a water stain that looks like mary, that sort of thing. Why do people make shines to this sort of thing? What if I had a birthmark that looked like Jesus...is that worth worshiping too?: Or does that mean since it is part of my body that I am somehow jesus second coming? Silly huh? Yeah, it all is.
